Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Light housekeeping and meal planning duties
- Companion care including conversation and engagement in hobbies
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Respond promptly to client needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Clear background check and TB test
- Valid California driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
