Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in client condition to nursing staff
- Assist with medication reminders and light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Maryland Home Health Aide certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate nature
- Clear background check and drug screening required
