Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to nursing staff
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain organized living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Maintain accurate care documentation
Qualifications
- Illinois Home Health Aide certification (HHA/CNA) required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
