Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and monitor dietary needs
- Administer prescribed medications and track vital signs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Document care progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals for continuity of care
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year home health aide or caregiving experience
- Current California HHA certification or CNA license
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
