Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain logistics
- Deliver compassionate patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Coordinate treatment plans with front desk and hygiene departments
- Assist in emergency dental procedures with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Arizona Dental Assistant License
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral imaging
- CPR/BLS certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Proven experience with infection control protocols
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
