Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Maintain sterile instruments and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using digital dental software (Epicor Eaglesoft)
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory levels
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or Radiology license in Missouri
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental setting
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
