Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, extractions, and restorative treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and patient comfort in mind
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain clinical equipment to OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient flow
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
- Manage digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate scheduling and ensure seamless clinic operations
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant certification or RDA status
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental imaging (X-ray, CBCT) and sterilization techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR certification and familiarity with emergency protocols
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
