Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implant placements and crown preparations
- Manage digital radiography (CBCT) and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement strict OSHA and CDC sterilization protocols
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on practice standards
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 8 operatories
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize appointment schedules
- Assist with digital charting using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in a fast-paced practice
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA certification required
- Experience with digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
