Responsibilities
- Perform 4-handed dentistry chair-side assisting during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral images.
- Manage patient records accurately and maintain up-to-date charts.
- Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out processes, and provide pre and post-operative instructions.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-care instructions.
- Assist in billing and insurance processing as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent certification.
- Current Radiology License (WI) and CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry setting preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate immediately.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
