Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient appointments.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral health education to patients.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Manage patient records and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification (RHS/ICE/ERDA) or equivalent state licensure.
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (optional but helpful for errands).
