Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Take digital dental impressions and process radiographs
- Manage patient scheduling and clinical inventory efficiently
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
- Assist in administrative tasks including insurance verification
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or eligible for certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- DEXIS/Carestream digital radiography experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
