Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suctioning, and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize equipment following OSHA standards
- Manage patient records using digital software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft experience preferred)
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Schedule appointments and handle front desk coordination as needed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or CDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
