Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and oral surgeries
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and treatment rooms per OSHA standards
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Manage patient scheduling and digital records using Dentrix software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order dental supplies and manage inventory efficiently
- Coordinate with insurance companies for pre-authorizations
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification
- Dentrix/Eaglesoft software experience preferred
