Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient records and scheduling systems
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory
- Assist with front desk duties including check-in/out and billing
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification and knowledge of OSHA protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
