Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize medical urgency using evidence-based protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care plans and disposition strategies
- Document detailed clinical observations and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license with Michigan Board of Nursing certification
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required) with TNCC preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and telehealth technologies
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative focus
