Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and maintain comfort throughout treatments
- Perform sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care coordination
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for clinical efficiency
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current California Dental Assistant Radiography license (RDA)
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
