Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Chart treatment notes and maintain accurate patient records
- Order supplies and ensure clinical areas are well-organized
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and billing support
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- CPR certification and radiology proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
