Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform chairside duties including instrument transfer, suction, and patient monitoring
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control compliance per OSHA/CDC guidelines
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory management
- Delicate patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Minnesota Dental Assistant certification (or eligible to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient comfort and team collaboration
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
