Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Delve patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between hygiene and clinical departments
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Oregon Dental Assistant license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and dental practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (maintained current)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proven ability to multitask in high-volume clinical environments
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
