Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, fillings, and oral surgeries
- Take and develop dental X-rays using digital radiography
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and instrument inventory
- Manage patient records and schedule coordination
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Digital radiography proficiency (Dexis/Sirona)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and infection control expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent
