Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and dental instruments for procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Assist dentists during complex procedures and surgeries
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and digital dental software
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and manage dental supply chains
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems (DEXIS/DEXIS Imaging)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR certification (current)
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple procedures efficiently
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
