Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, extractions, and orthodontic work
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments using our digital system
- Provide chairside assistance and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques and equipment
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Valid CPR certification
