Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placements and cosmetic restorations
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging with precision
- Implement strict infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency across 8 operatories
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on practice protocols and technologies
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Prepare treatment rooms with advanced equipment including laser and CBCT systems
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant Radiology certification required
- Minimum 3 years experience in a high-volume cosmetic or specialty practice
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
- Exceptional chairside manner with diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy protocols
- Associate's degree or certificate in Dental Assisting preferred
