Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Manage patient records using our digital practice management software
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and OSHA compliance
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring (certification required)
- Provide chairside assistance during oral surgeries and implant placements
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- X-ray certification valid in Texas
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient education and comfort
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
