Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, crowns, and oral surgeries
- Take and interpret digital dental X-rays with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Manage patient flow and coordinate chairside operations seamlessly
- Provide post-operative instructions and compassionate patient education
- Monitor inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient comfort and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
