Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and digital images as directed.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Greet patients, confirm appointments, and provide pre-operative instructions.
- Take dental impressions and pour models for crowns and bridges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and infection-free clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or DANB certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental office.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and four-handed dentistry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light objects.
