Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs using digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records and scheduling through our cloud-based practice management software
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials while ensuring optimal inventory management
- Provide post-procedure care instructions and patient education remotely via secure messaging
- Coordinate insurance claims and billing documentation from home office
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program certification or equivalent experience
- Current DANB certification or eligibility for Maryland state licensure
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience with digital radiography systems
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills for remote patient interactions
- Strong organizational abilities for hybrid workflow management
- Valid CPR certification with BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance in remote work environment
