Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient positioning
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and recall systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate digital dental records
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a general practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalEZ software
- CPR certification required
