Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage patient scheduling, digital charting, and insurance verification using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and perform intraoral imaging
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for efficient clinical workflow
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification and radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
