Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments using advanced instruments
- Sterilize equipment and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take digital dental impressions and process X-rays
- Manage patient scheduling and insurance documentation
- Provide chairside assistance during cosmetic and restorative procedures
- Train new staff on clinic software and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- 2+ years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software
- Valid Nevada dental radiography certification
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
