Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and develop diagnostic dental images
- Implement strict infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/EagleSoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal clinical workflow
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-op care
- Coordinate patient scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Ohio Dental Assistant Registration
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control procedures
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
