Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA guidelines
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument transfer and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Provide chairside support for restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene techniques
- Monitor inventory and order dental supplies to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of dental radiography and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume settings
- Valid Wisconsin dental radiography license
