Responsibilities
- Dispense Medications: Prepare and package prescription medications with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify & Process: Verify patient information, prescriptions, and insurance details to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage pharmacy inventory, and place orders for pharmaceutical supplies.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients and healthcare providers by answering questions regarding medications and insurance.
- Assist Pharmacist: Support the supervising pharmacist in compounding medications and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- Licensure: Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.
