Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using digital software (e.g., Dentrix Eaglesoft)
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and inventory management
- Provide post-procedure instructions and patient education
- Assist with front desk duties when needed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Florida required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a dental setting
- Proficiency in dental radiography (X-ray) techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with dental practice management software
- CPR certification preferred
