Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient records using Dentrix software
- Provide chairside assistance with comfort measures
- Perform infection control protocols
- Coordinate patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current Florida Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Radiography certification (DANB/RHS)
- CPR certification required
- Proficiency in dental software (Dentrix preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and infection control compliance
