Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Greet patients, review medical histories, and explain dental procedures to ensure a comfortable experience.
  • Chairside Assisting: Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, passing instruments and providing suction.
  • Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization protocols and sanitize instruments and treatment areas according to OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certification or state RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license.
