Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentist: Provide chair-side assistance during examinations and treatments.
- Patient Care: Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
- Imaging: Perform intraoral and extraoral X-rays accurately and safely.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization protocols and organize the operatory.
- Record Keeping: Manage patient charts and update medical histories.
- Front Desk Support: Check patients in/out and process insurance when needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current DANB certification or state-issued Dental Assistant license.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a dental office setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with dental software and radiology equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- CPR: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
