Responsibilities
- Assist the lead dentist and hygienist chairside during examinations and treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (intraoral and panoramic) using our digital systems.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Manage patient records and update dental charts accurately and confidentially.
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
- Order and inventory dental supplies to ensure clinic readiness.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certification or state licensure preferred.
- CPR and BLS certification (Basic Life Support) currently active.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry setting is a plus but not required.
