Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using provided advanced equipment (digital radiography, intraoral cameras)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal operatory efficiency
- Apply topical anesthetics and fluoride treatments
- Maintain digital patient records and treatment documentation
- Assist in inventory management of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Active DANB certification or state license
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent patient communication and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems preferred
