Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols and cross-contamination prevention standards.
- Digital Radiography: Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral images.
- Patient Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Administrative Support: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing inquiries.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and order dental supplies and materials to ensure stock availability.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification.
- Licensure: Active California Dental Assistant license.
- CPR: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
