Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols per OSHA guidelines
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Dentrix software
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials efficiently
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling coordination
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Dental Assistant certification (CDA or RDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and sterilization techniques
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
