Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Manage patient charts, digital records, and inventory systems
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Coordinate treatment schedules and ensure seamless workflow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA preferred)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology permit
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
