Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) accurately.
- Manage patient records, insurance claims, and scheduling efficiently.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB Certified in Radiography preferred.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous experience in a dental office is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
