Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Patient Care: Build rapport with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization and cross-contamination prevention.
- Lab Work & Materials: Manage dental materials, take impressions, and perform basic laboratory duties as needed.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient charts, update records, and assist with scheduling.
- Radiography: Capture and develop high-quality digital X-rays.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA/CDA) or equivalent experience.
- Licensure: Valid state license to practice in Oklahoma.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a clinical dental setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficient in using dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and modern dental equipment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure.
