Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory hygiene
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records
- Provide chairside assistance during complex procedures
- Deliver post-operative care instructions
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DAEFCC or DANB preferred)
- New Mexico radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
