Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and examination rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including chairside support
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Update patient records and maintain digital documentation systems
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with dental imaging software (DEXIS, Eaglesoft)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental safety protocols
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
