Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including sterilization and instrument setup
- Perform chairside assistance with comfort and precision
- Take and develop dental radiographs with safety protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Ensure sterilization and infection control compliance
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials efficiently
- Deliver exceptional patient education and chairside manner
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Dental Assistant certification required
- 2+ years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) systems
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
