Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and implant placements
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision and care
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control in compliance with OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize appointment scheduling for maximum efficiency
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for diverse dental procedures
- Deliver chairside assistance with exceptional patient communication and comfort
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and assist with practice management software
Qualifications
- Active RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in radiography and infection control procedures
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
- Exceptional chairside manner and ability to put anxious patients at ease
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- CPR/BLS certification and commitment to ongoing continuing education
- Valid X-ray license and BLS certification
