Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for efficient patient flow
- Capture diagnostic X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Implement strict sterilization protocols per OSHA guidelines
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain optimization
- Provide chairside support and patient education on oral hygiene
- Coordinate scheduling and insurance verification processes
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant License (RDA or RDAEF preferred)
- Certification in CPR and dental radiography
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with precision
- Background check and TB clearance required
