Your Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will be the right hand to our experienced doctors, ensuring smooth operations and a positive patient experience from check-in to checkout.
Responsibilities
- Chair-Side Assistance: Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, prepare them for treatment, and explain post-operative care instructions.
- Radiography: Take and develop digital X-rays (intraoral and panoramic) adhering to safety protocols.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization standards and cross-infection control procedures for all instruments and materials.
- Record Keeping: Update and maintain accurate patient medical records and treatment histories in our dental software.
- Lab Work: Assist in the fabrication and placement of temporary crowns and impressions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Nevada Dental Assistant License (RDA/CDA) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficient in dental terminology, sterilization techniques, and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
